Endo pain back with mirena - is this normal?

Hi all

I had my last op for endo 2 years ago to remove endo and had the mirena refitted. The has returned in the last two weeks.

Has anyone else with the mirena had the pain return? Last time it took approx 4 years after the op and with the mirena before I was back suffering and needed another op.

Exhausted by it and just need to know that others have experienced this too.

I was on the mirena for 1.5 years. I had it fitted and within 7months of being on it my pain came back worse than before.

I had my last mirena fitted after a colposcopy (in day surgery) and have never had an issue with it.

Maybe it's worth asking for a referral to find out what's going on.

Hey there, yeah this seems quite normal sadly. The pain was back to its worst for me by a year and a half and I had it taken out.
