really usually its fine but you need to take the HRT tibolone with it starting about 2/3 weeks after the shot if you get bad flushes, night sweats etc and you can get a bit anxious as well particularly without the HrT but it helped me massively with the pain . I also managed to have them for 2 years on NHS - it can be done if you push. Good luck

Hi. I'm assuming you mean prostap or similar? Do your research before starting as whilst these work for some people, for others they are really not good. I was one of the latter. Take advice from your GP also. Good luck x

I have been on Zoladex injections for the past 2 years together with Premarin to combat the menopausal symptoms. I'm 42 and have suffered with Endo pain since I was 21. The injections gave me back my quality of life, free from pain, but 2 years is the max time to be on them due to a decrease in bone density and risks of other side effects. I am awaiting my major op to get rid of all the Endo, remaining ovary, mass of cysts and whatever else he feels like sorting for me. You could ask your GP to put you on them, but it really is only a temporary fix and a long term solution should be talked about.

All the best Hope xx
