Depo provera shot...

Hi just seeing if this has happened to anyone else really as I'm getting a bit worried! I had the 3 month depo provera shot in October but I never had the next injection as I had horrible side effects and I bled everyday for 3 months whilst on it! Once the 3 months was over I didn't have a period for 2 months, then in March I had the most horrific one which lasted 15 days but I haven't had once since and I normally would have had one over 3 weeks ago! Has anyone else had their periods messed up by the depo provera shot?

Me I have but I am currently having the injections again as it's the only thing that helps my chronic ovulation pain. When I was having the depo years ago I had it for over 2 years and it took almost a year for my periods to return. I am surprised that after 1 injection that it has caused so much muck up I would go to your doctor just to make sure there is nothing else is going on with your hormones for example.
