This ladies, my EndoBodyWreck 3D art installation on my nude body is done in all your honour. You were the support team behind my diagnosis after 5 years of unexplained misery and a lost career. One of your members recognised my symptoms, back in 2011, as similar to hers: bowel endometriosis, via facebook of all places!! What a chance enconter huh? But it saved my life: I had the start of endometrial cancer. Im afraid though the saga continues, despite a hysterectomy/BSO and many many unpleasant procedures. Im about to face my 4th surgery on April 5th: a probable bowel resection as once again the monthly cylical pain returns and MRI has shown adhesions on my bowel. I now train students into medicine (I am a Dr of cancer toxicology/chemistry). And felt it appropriate to focus on the educational side for rasising funds of endometriosis uk through creation of a medical art, endo gallery.
