Prostap, faint positives & terrified.

Hi,

So I had my last prostap injection on the 21St August, and my lmp on the 4th September. Since then I've not had a period. I've just three tests since last Friday and got very faint positive lines. I've been in touch with my endo nurse and also got an appointment with my gp tomorrow. And I'm terrified, I'm scared to think I am incase I get there tomorrow and told I'm not. But I'm also scared because Ive had an ectopic before, and the fact I have prostap still in my system. Could the prostap give a false positive? What are the effects prostap could have on my possible baby? Desperate for a child although that would also be nerve-wracking since I recently lost my job because of endo, and don't currently live with my partner. But after being told my chances are slim because of where my endo is and only having one tube we haven't used any protection. Silly in these circumstances but when you want a child that much I'm not gonna let a job make me stop any chances.

I've also not had many symptoms, apart from sore boobs and fatigue. But I've not had any problems with my endo for three weeks. Not one bout of pain. Not a UTI which I've recently been getting everyweek. Am I wrong for getting my hopes up?

hiya hun ... i had the prostap injection for 6 months last year, personally i wouldn't waste your time with it , but that's just my own opinion... the prostap injection stops your periods altogether, it also shuts down all of your overy system. i was told by my gyne that you cant get pregnant on it, i didn't use any contraception while i was on the prostap injection and i didn't get pregnant.

the prostap injection which i was having every month for six months made me very mardy, stressy, my booobs hurt. one minute i was happy then next minute i felt like crying , then felt very stressed .... i didnt like this injection he made me have many mood swings all the time i also feel that it didnt work and was a waste of my time .... im due back in for my 2nd operation in dec to remove endro and detach my whome from my bowl ..... hope this helps hun and best of luck x
