Hello everyone, Im 31 years old. Ive been a sufferer of endometriosis now for 10 years. I was lucky that this came after i had my family already, i know lots of you are not so lucky :( .... Ive had countless laporoscopies, prescribed treatments ect...you name it ive tried it.

However it seemed after 8 years, it suddenly eased, and i was a different person. I was discharged from Gynae, and thought it was the way forward. I then fell pregnant, which was a huge shock in itself, however a very nice one. :) A 10 year gap between my 2 youngest so i wasn't expecting that!! Especially considering the amount of Endometriosis id been treated for aswell.

However, here is where i need help, its now been 14 months since my little girl was born. And im convinced Endometriosis is back with a vengeance. But this time its different, the pain is localised to my lower back and sides, with a distinctive burning sensation in my side, going into my bum and tops of my legs. Ive been to my GP who is convinced it is not sciatica or any back related problems as i have no problem with flexability, but the pain is unbareable and some days im struggling to move. I am booked in with my Gynae and i will be having another Lap next month too. Does this sound like Endometriosis related? Its normally 2 weeks into my Cycle that i get this pain! It lasts about 1 week. Then its gone. But comes back whenever if feels like it like a bullet out of the blue! Please can anyone relate to this, id be so grateful as i don't know what this could be!

Thanks In Advance,

Sara x

I'm not convinced that any GP knows that much about back problems, see a good registered chiropractor and get it checked out. Abdominal pain like you get from endometriosis can put your back out. Pregnancy and child birth can also put a strain on the back.

Having said that it is also possible that your endometriosis is back, it does go into remission and will return, particularly if you have been under stress. Having a baby will put stress on your system.

Best wishes
