I went to see my consultant today for a follow up appointment after my 2nd lap in May!
The outcome was an MRI scan in a few weeks to see if I have rectovaginal endo as that is the last thing my consultant thinks my symptoms could be!
Just wondering if any of you have rectovaginal endo and if you could give me any info regarding symptoms, diagnosis and treatments etc? Would really appreciate any advice and guidance.
Thank you

I was diagnosed with this today. I have oains down my legs all month, lose clots from my front and back passage, pain when going to the toilet is similar to when I give birth. I get comfort from rocking on all fours or using a gym ball x
I've had rectovaginal. All the usual 'period' symptoms - heavy bleeding etc etc. Pain leading up to a bowel movement, extreme pain when having to go. Wind, constipation mostly throughout the month, tend to get diarrhea during period. Back and hip ache as well as lower tummy. Nausea. Pain down my legs, pain sitting down, pain walking or moving at all - though I have adenomyosis so all of the leg stuff could be attributable to that!
I was diagnosed on first lap 5yrs ago and it seems to keep coming back on ligaments, bowel, pouch of Douglas, bladder and womb. I've been on prostap twice and had 4 laparoscopies. Pill back to back and a whole range of pain killers. My last surgery excised a nodule in my bowel wall which was quite stressfull but I've recovered well.
I'm now waiting for excision of an adenomyoma in the wall of my womb so maybe after that I will be sorted for a while!
