I suffer from PCOS and Endometriosis. I was told I would never fall pregnant but have on 2 occasions but both ended in silent miscarriages quite late on in pregnancies.
Last September I had surgery to drill the cysts on my ovaries and to burn away the endometriosis.
My partner and I have been continually trying for a baby since then but with no luck, I take metformin as a fertility aid but nothing seems to be happening
Any suggestions?

I am very sorry to read that you have lost two pregnancies.
Have you done the three blood clotting tests commonly done by women who have had recurrent miscarriages ( one of which being Leiden V, the other Prothrombin time and the third I forgot)? Also, MTHFR? Homocysteine?
Then, there also could be simple nutritional defficiencies that need addressing, like taking the active form of folic acid - l-methylfolate probably in higher doses and longer period of time; NAC, amino acid taken for PCOS, insulin resistance, cysts, a great antioxidant that also regulates latent thyroid issues; Wobenzym N enzymes to help with the inflammation of endometriosis and clearing the debris in the body; vitamin D 10000IU; also, Pycnogenol, an expensive but great antioxidant...
I cannot believe that a doctor could have told you something like that! Who does he think he is?! God?! Please don't trust anyone but yourself and your gut feeling, and look for a second and 10th opinion if necessary.
