All for nothing?

Hi ladies. I've just had my last shot of decapeptyl (7 months worth in total). I have my gynae appointment in February to decide whether or not i'm able to have a complete hysterectomy. My worry is is that the consultant told me i'd have to be COMPLETELY pain free at the end of the treatment for them to consider the op. If only! Each jag just seems to make my pain worse, although it does settle down after 3 or 4 weeks, but i'm never pain free. Only 2 weeks into this last lot and even doing a bit of hoovering is leaving me in agony!

I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there who's experienced the same and what their outcome was? I really can't bear the thought of having gone through this last few months for nothing and being sent away from my appointment being told again 'you have endometriosis, go home and live with it!' Needing some light at the end of the tunnel xx
