Hiya

I got diagnosed with stage 1 nov 13 after 2 years of pain and had a lap which burnt it off. 6 weeks a go i had another lap which showed stage 2 endo over my ureter (tube to my kidney) and had a cancer scare. I had it cut out this time and i suffered with PID after my op. For the last 4 weeks i have been bleeding and the pain is back.

I had an appointment with my specialist who said i need to try zoladex i think its called to put me in a state of fake menopause as well as HRT therapy. As it is possible it has returned already. Im worried about the drug

Can anyone give me any comments on it please

Thanks

It sounds like your consultant wasn't skilled enough to remove the endo properly. Taking zoladex will help with pain but will do nothing to remove the endo. When you stop taking it you will be back to square one. If you go onto bsge.org.uk/ec-BSGE-accredi... you can find a endo specialist centre which will get you the treatment you deserve.
