Does anyone know if there is a correlation between the severity of symptoms and the stage of endometriosis or can you have severe symptoms even with mild endo? Also what are the most common symptoms with ladies who have severe endo?x

Someone can have a small amount of Endo but severe pain, and vice versa, so my doctor said.

the stage of endo has nothing to do with the pain it causes, it is about where it is in the body and how your body reacts to it. people can have really bad endo but not even know they have it because they have no pain

I believe that the stage of endo that someone has doesn't necessarily correlate with the level of pain. I have found this out from recent experience as someone who was diagnosed with advanced stage four. To be honest when I found out the extent of the endo in my abdominal cavity (everywhere) I wondered how on earth I'd even managed to get out of bed each day or go for a run!

It is difficult enough to get frends and family to understand the disease, let alone to explain this to them.
