I am the A's you n only 28 but just had my op today n so glad I had it even tho I was scared shirtless! The scans I had only showed up pcos but in my op they found I also had endometriosis, adhesion and that my left ovary was attached to my pelvic wall due to the lid infection I had 3 months ago, also my cervix was inflamed and infected again which no scans or blood test she's!!! I really would think bout that op as now am all cleaned( so to say) and should be free from pain in a week or so! Yes it does hurt n not nice go thru but think bout the positive affects of knowing n treating the problem xxx

Hi

Thanks for your reply by op i meant hysterectomy. .. i feel im too young for this as i really would love a chance to have my own children/child... i didnt even know about Endometriosis untill i found out i had it... its so frustrating.

Are you pains severe in the sense of abdominal, back, groin to knee, joints n alot of migraines?

Reading alot of different people going through alot but we all have the same thing (its quite scary)

Hi m4r1a44,

Please explain why they want to perform a hysterectomy on you. You say you have endometriosis, did you already have a lap to determine that? And, did you get an explanation as to what they discovered? How extensive was the endometriosis, did the excise any of it at that time. Do they suspect you have adenomyosis? Did you get a post operative report? How long have you had the marina coil? Have you tried the Endo resolved diet?

Sorry not fully understanding what u are saying..

I have cysts and endometriosis.. the pains become soo unbearable that i sometimes pass out from it and have been rushed to hospital for it.

I have had the coil in for just over 4 months now...

Yes to all minus the migrants but did get dizzy spells, I have been on 8x 50mg of tramadol and naproxen daily since end of July, had op n had, n yes I would feel very upset as you are young, have you had a LAP? Don't get as I had alot more going on n never had that mention to me, had a LAP n then op to sort everything out n that was even done with key hole surgery yesterday, yes I in terrible pain now but all different pain to what I was in n is now caused by the op!!

Have you had a LAP??

Is this diagnostic and treatment method suggestion from the gynea clinic??

What pain meds you on??

Maybe you need a second opinion cos I know I would have one xxx

i have cysts and endo (stage4) i had a lap to confirm this and remove the BIG cyst 8days ago. seems extreme to recommend a hysterectomy but only your consultant knows your clinical history. But i agree with emsiedoodles if you have not a lap to diagnose all of this then a hysterectomy may be necessary and would consider you ask for a 2nd opinion, 28yr old i assume you would like to preserve the option of children? Also try joining a support group and speak to other women face to face, that really did help me.
