Hi I had my laparasopy on Friday the 4th July and everyday since my lower right leg has been irritating me now today I've got up and noticed it's all bruised and numb could this be a effect of the anesthetic?

As gem says - PLEASE call your gynae ward right away. Straight to hospital.

Do not wait about. That is definitely sounding like a DVT, and must be treated very urgently by the hospital. Don't 'wait and see', please get back to the hosp asap.

Even if it turns out to be a false alarm, you cannot take any chances. There have been plenty of ladies on the forum who have formed a DVT after surgery and it is an emergency. I don't want to alarm you but please do seek urgent medical attention. Not tonight or tomorrow but NOW.
