When I'm on my period I sometimes stop early, but three days latter I start bleeding again. I have no idea what's going on with me

Hi, same thing happened to me before I had my last lap. My acupuncturist said that alot of women have this due to a tilted pelvis, and what's coming out later is old blood if it's brown in colour. I always thought it was the endometrial cysts that were bleeding later. Have you had a lap? If not, time you were referred for one. x

Sorry, should have added, if you have no other pain or discomfort during period or heavy bleed then it's probably normal and nothing to worry about. Didn't mean to alarm you xx

This happens to me too. I bleed for 4/5 days and then nothing for 48/72 hours and then another day of bleeding.

I've always had this from my first period and I've never been worried by it. After my lap I was told I have an antiverted uterus (tilted forwards) so maybe this is why as Dsan mentioned. If your uterus is tilted forwards or backwards it's nothing to worry about and quite common.
