Has anyone had women's health physical therapy to help stop the re growth of adhesions?

I am a women's health physiotherapist. I have never heard of any treatment that Physios provide which stop the regrowth of adhesions, only pain relief for adhesions.

There is nothing yet that you can do to prevent regrowth of adhesions. There are several options available to surgeons working inside you to try and prevent their development and damage in the 1st place, but once you have adhesions, then having them surgically cut back to free up organs is the only way to give temporary relief because they will regrow.

Thanks very much for the answers. My chiropractor had suggested that she thought there might be some kind of physical therapy that cld help the adhesions from regrowing/attaching but I wasn't convinced! Shame as that wld have been good

I see a pelvic Physio at Wythenshawe Hospital who breaks by current adhesions up through internal and external massages/stretches. It's agonising beyond words but she's turned my life around!!
