Yes it most definitely does. It causes a whole host of problems, constipation, diarrhoea, feeling you always need a poo, painful inter cause, back ache, dull ache, cuts in and around rectum when going for #2, causes bowel to stick to other places like vagina and more x

This is def me. Im waiting for my lap results I always thought it was because I had a third degree tear with my son but it is much worse lately. Can't go then can't stop going and wind too, I hope it can be fixed.

Yes endo or endometriomas in the POD can push into the bowel like a large dent making passing poop painful and difficult too.

You do not need to have endo on the surfaces of the bowel for this to be a problem - but the two often go together.

Adhesions can also constrict round the bowel like corset, reducing how much expandability the bowel has for poop when you're constipated, making it worse as the problem backlogs up the pipes

If this is happening then you do need surgery to remove whatever if causing the restriction, it can mean complex surgery but in most cases simply cleaning out the POD and cutting back adhesions will make a huge improvement to loo trips. Not that that is tricky to do, but by complex I would mean losing a section of bowel. That only becomes necessary in extreme cases.

You can help yourself too by doing all you can to avoid constipation (often caused by pain killers, dehydration and poor diet too.)

Take laxatives if needed, They can be liquid or tablet. There are natural laxative foods which can smooth the flow so to speak. Senna, Papaya seeds, Diet Gummi Bears (made with glycerine) etc.

Here's an illustration of how it can really dent in to the bowel

the black splodge is the endo, leaving not much room for anything to get past it.

The mass of endo can also dent in to the back of the vagina too.

Wow impatient you seem to know a lot about end. I'm guessing you've had lots of treatment. Ive only had a diagnostic lap. I see a long road ahead with all this. I only wanted another baby. Feeling very down about it all.

In booked in for Lap for possible endo too. I have these symptoms above. Usually constipated but during this monthly cycle had diarrhea with white mucus (sorry)? This past 8 weeks I've had terrible pain. Mild pain last two years. Swollen sacrum too- anyone else had the swelling? X
