I'm recently diagnosed and wonder if diet can affect the condition. Does anyone have any tips/websites that can help?

Hi, I would suggest reading Dian Shepperton Mills book - Endometriosis, a key to healing through nutrition. Essentially she recommends cutting out wheat and cows dairy and using supplements to boost the immune system and ease symptoms.

I took on board a lot of her advice around 10 years ago and gradually within 12 months my pain had eased significantly. This is not a quick fix and takes motivation and persistence to stay on track.

At the time I followed the diet I really wanted to take back some control where my consultant did not seem to be offering me any solutions either for my endometriosis or my fertility problems.

If you have the motivation (and the time to start reading all the ingredients in the food you buy!) then I would totally recommend a dietary approach. It is the only thing that helped for me.

Good luck.

I think diet does help, I was on a gluten free diet and I was practically symptom free during that time. I also think lots of sleep helps and keeping active, if you have pain try and keep moving within what your body will allow you to do. I've had endo for about 20 years now and I don't lie in bed worrying about it, I try lead a normal life and don't overdo anything (late nights are not good)
