Anyone with any information on Endosalpingiosis? Just been diagnosed and feel very alone as no info anywhere! ?? Help!

Hi there, I have been told by by consultatant that its a misconception that its the same principal as endometriosis (which I do have). The problem is that there is no research as its so uncommon so they are completely unsure and divided on what is fact and myth! I had a urgent lap as my previous lap 8 weeks prior a biopsy taken and tested came back with mallignant cells (serous carcinoma). My docs are mythed and althougu they run a research programme for endometriosis, have never seen what they saw inside me before. I have seen pics and my insides are covered in a very strange blistering. Far from what common endo looks like. I am not ovulating either which at 18years old is very strange! Everyone is a bit puzzled and now this diagnosis of endosalpingiosis seems to be another mystery due to lack of knowledge. I'm worried I will just be left now !!!

Yes you can understand my concern! I have an appointment with my consultant who wanted to see me this Tuesday coming. Hoping that he will shed some light on my situation! Will come back when I get more information! Thanks ! X

Hi, I have been diagnosed with endosalpingiosis. It started off as a diagnosis for ovarian cyst and I was due too have a laproscopy to remove it. The consultant found and removed endometriosis when he did the cystectomy. He took a biopsy and it came back as endosalpingiosis.
