I thought the same, maybe you went on the wrong forum. This is about endometriosis and although bowel problems are a symptom for some, no one has problems with soiling themselves so maybe you should try looking at a different forum.

I'm really concerned to hear this because my mum had a lot of bowel problems. One thing I learnt from this is you need it investigated; don't ignore the symptoms or cover them with meds. If I were you I'd consult a nutritionist to see if there is any food that she is allergic to. I've got a friend who is a specialist nurse in the field of bowels (!) so will ask her what you should do and get back to you. She treats children in particular who have problems with their bowels as a result of their intolerance to certain foods. Maybe this is something you could investigate.

As a paediatric nurse... You need referring to a paediatric gastroenterologist by your gp.

She probably has overflow and needs a disempaction regeime with movicol increased other meds added and maybe enemas plus the cause found and treated.
