Bleeding and Zoladex

I had a 3 month Zoladex implant 2 and a half weeks ago and started bleeding after 2 weeks. Bleeding is really heavy and passing a lot of clots. I had zoladex 2 years ago and experienced spotting. Just wondered if heavy bleeding was normal

Hi, bleeding after first implant is normal,although the gynaes always forget to tell you! things should settle down soon

I would imagine the zoladex isn't fully in your system yet enough to stop your periods. Personally I didn't get on with the three month injections they didn't seem to last the full three months I stuck to the monthly ones. x
