Hi I had one yesterday under local to remove ureter stents. They got one out but the other has to be done tomorrow under GA due to the calcification on it. After the procedure I was very sore when passing urine but drinking loads is a must and its much better today. I did bleed a bit also. I guess after tomorrow it will feel much the same. I will try and get back to you and let you know! J xx

I had one under no anaesthetic. It's not as bad as it seems. Mine hurt as I was swollen and had endometriosis grown through but it really isn't that bad. You will be fine. Good luck for Monday x

Hi, I have had 2. My 1st one was because I was having bladder problems and the 2nd one was to look at bladder again and I had lap at same time to remove endo. After the 1st one I bled after a few days in urine, then was ok and 2nd one was ok but sore. When you need to urinate after your op try and relax, it does really help and although it may hurt you for a few days you should then get back to normal. Good luck and try not to worry.

I had mine last week with no anesthetic at all just a nice nurse holding my hand. It was slightly uncomfortable during the procedure and first urine pass was irritated but no issues. Good luck for Monday.

Hi ladies, thanks all for responding. Of course you were all right I had nothing to fear, everyone was lovely, I think must of just had such bad experiences in gynea but here I was actually looked after check on and even got lunch. They hyper inflated my bladder, did and x ray due test and rooted about but everything seems ok which is a relief, they think its my endometriosis that's causing all the pain. Was home within 7 hours. Just need to rest for a few days as feel like I've been punched, relieved its over. Hope your all ok?! X
