COULD ENDO BE BACK
Yes the endo never really goes away unless they get every last bit of it!!! I'm 46 had hysterectomy took HRT for a bit, I'm off that now!! Mine flared up recently but thank god it's eased off a lot I can work etc still bloated and tired. Endo has been found in the lungs and most recently on a brain tumour on one lady, awful isn't it!!! Hopefully yours will ease off too. Fingers crossed xx
Sorry you are suffering so much. It's soul destroying to go thru the trauma of surgery and really believe that your problems with endo are over just for those miserable symptoms to return. Like you, I was 45 when I had a tah. That was 4 and a half years ago and I was not given HRT because of stage IV endo. Just in the past couple of months I've started feeling similar pain have developed painful breasts and am much more emotional (just like PMT symptoms!). I asked my consultant if it could be coming back again and he said 'No'! I asked for a CA125 test but he said that there was no point but did agree to my having a blood test to check my oestrogen levels. I'm waiting for the results now. No painkillers seem to shift the pain but I have noticed that if I eat ginger it subsides! Good luck x
