Had lasparscopy 2 weeks ago, now have haematoma? Anyone else suffered this after op?

Hiya, bit down since having lasp. and having endo. removed. Ive had an infection and now haematoma which is painfull. has anyone else experienced any thing like this? If so how long before u were better!

Hi there. Sorry to hear you are suffering. I had a haematoma after my last lap in jan this year. I went back into hospital for two nights for observation and then rested well afterwards. It took about 10 weeks for me to start to feel better, but recovery times vary from person to person. Hope you feel better soon x

Sorry to hear your not feeling well. What are ye symptoms of haematoma? I'm still in pain 7 weeks post op and don't know why. Now wondering if that could be it xx

Hi thanks mrsn for ur advice, my doctor said about three weeks recovery. did u have to rest for long? Or did u go back to work etc. just wondering. sorry to ask so many questions. just frustrated!

Sally34 sorry ur still in pain. yeh symptoms for me have been pain mainly below my belly button and some shooting pains across my belly area. feeling sick too but not being sick. take care hope u feel better soon x

I had my lap 2 weeks ago 5 days after lap I was re admitted for 2 nights with the same heamatoma....the pain bellow my belly button and in my stomach was awful. I had a mirena fitted during lap too, I thought the pain I had before my lap and after was bad, but oh.no there nothing compared to my 1st period.....xx I'm due bk in work on tues part of me doesnt want to go bk just yet, doubled up with cramps and so exhausted...however my employer doesn't pay sick pay and as a single mum I can't b off any longer....hope we all start to feel better soon.
