recurring chest infections with asthma ,I keeping getting chest infection about every 4 month and it gone on for about 4 years has anyone else had this problem

Yes I have permanent chest infection because severe lung condition but this year is different. I had a sore throat for two months had all antibiotics. No fever just asthma attacks and a lot of mucus very dry mouth.
