Dr Hakim IS NOT going on sabbatical

Dear All

I have just received an email from a patient worried that I am going to be away for a year. I do not know where this mis-information has come from but it is NOT TRUE.

My office is closed until 3rd January - but that's it - business as usual from then.

I should be grateful if anyone who see's this incorrect message about a sabbatical passing around any chat rooms etc., could quash it straight away.

It's a distressing for my patients; it's distressing for those who already know they have appointments in March and April next year; and it's singularly unhelpful for me and my Office having to answer emails from people unsure what is going on.

You have it from the horse's mouth.
