Our Therapies for ME project (see edmesh.org.uk/category/ther... is coming to an end, but edmesh are still offering free complementary therapies to our members in the Edinburgh area.

The therapies on offer are:

Bowen Technique - this addresses the whole body and can help the body move into 'rest, relax and repair mode'. The moves done by the practitioner are gentle (usually

a gentle roll over a muscle). Between these sets of moves the clients are left to relax for a minimum of two minutes. This allows their bodies to begin responding.

Hand Reflexology- effective in relieving stress and tension, balancing the body, and improving

nerve and blood supply.

Indian Head Massage - a gentle massage of the head, neck, shoulders and upper arms. The massage can induce relaxation, ease tension and help with many ailments.

NES (Nutri Energetics System) - a computer scanning method which compares your own health level with an optimum healthy human. The results of the scan determines the priority for correction by prescribed remedy drops.

Reiki - a form of spiritual healing using the Universal life force energy channeled through the

practitioner to the recipient. It is then used to help balance the body, mind and spirit. Reiki can be used for many ailments.
