This is a patient education dedicated meeting both virtually and in person. I like this site because it is a “plain language” site dedicated to patient support and education. The current President, Lori Hartwell had her first AKI at age 2 and is currently on her 4th transplant! Here is the link for the agenda:

Thanks for sharing this! Lori's story is inspirational, and I'm sorry to have missed this great event in October.

Totally agree that 'plain language' is important. In addition to being easy to understand, patient education, and support should also be personalized to each CKD patient's lifestyle, interests, values, and current knowledge!
