I’m at stage 4 CKD, for a few years now I eat broccoli and carrots (steamed)every day. I began shaking a few days ago.

I’ve always weighed them out. I lost 13 pounds fast, I eat a very light breakfast, I started shaking a few days ago when I get hungry, can you please help me figure out why? I am a diabetic, I’ve never had this issue before. I don’t see my doctor till December.

Bless you for helping🙏🏻

Check your blood sugar when you shake. I t can be a sign of low glucose levels. Not good. You want to not have high peaks and lows. By eating more often and the right things should help with that. Make sure you are eating a well balanced diet which can include what you are eating but I hope that you eat other things as well. See a dietician.

If you are not eating enough protein you will kill yourself.

Brocolli is high in Potassium...at Stage 4 you may need to reduce that, even though you have been eating it for years..I would get my labs taken and read them.... You may also not be getting enough nutrition..

You might try calling your Doctor and tell them how you feel , they may reschedule your appointment earlier
