Research Request

I'm not really sure if this is allowed, so please delete this post if it is not.

Just spoke with someone who is gathering CKD patients in stage 1, 2 and 3a to interview for a client who is researching for ways of improving those early stage CKD. That's good news! In any case, I'm participating. They asked if I knew anyone else who would be interested. It's a 1- 2 hour phone interview if you qualify and they do a little compensation for your time. If you are interested, private message me and I will give you the number, company, website and contact to call. Nice to see some research being done to help slow things down.

I got a chat message 2 hours ago for this also from SailboatGal, stating same request. I wonder if it is a scam? Have not contacted the person.

I was concerned with that as well, but I got the company name and the woman I spoke with checked out. Looks like they are putting feelers out for people to interview on various CKD platforms. The gals Linked In pages checks out. Looks legit.

Hi Zazzel,

This is a tricky area and not the first time research requests appear on Health Unlocked forums. In order to protect our users' anonymity, confidentiality and vulnerabilities from scammers we ask that the person making this request contact directly our Head Office on:support@healthunlocked.com who will make this decision. All users of HU forums must comply with and respect our Terms of Use: healthunlocked.com/policies... and Community Guidelines: support.healthunlocked.com/... which you can also find at the bottom of your forum's homepage. I would counsel you all to exercise caution before accepting such requests. If you have any future concerns you can also contact the HU Admin team on the email address above, or via your 'more' tab under your post where you can report your concerns. Hope this helps.

Thanks MAS_Nurse.

I agree with your thinking.

Soliciting for studies on any health support site should be cleared through their Administrators, as they are here to monitor and protect the safety and best interest of the community.
