Nausea

Hi guys,I'm just wondering if any of you feel nauseous at stage 3b...egfr 37, and I'm 40 years old. I often feel like I'm going to be sick...never actually am but it's a regular feeling. I'm wondering if it's a kidney thing or something totally unrelated?

I often have a bad taste in my mouth. It does make me nauseous. I am constantly having to put a mint in my mouth. I have also lost my apetite. I have stage 3 with a egfr of 28. Its a good question to ask my nephew doctor at my next visit.

I always felt sick and nauseous from stage 3.

I would say, its likely its related.

It makes sense when toxins are not being effectively cleared from your body by your kidneys, but would always check with your doctor in case its something different.

Some doctors believe there are no side effects at stage 3. However, there definately were for me, and for many others i know. May be some people are lucky and dont have them.

I was told by a very sensible nurse, if i felt nauseous i should drink more water. It worked for me.

Thank u guys!! Actually I do need to drink more water...I'm not good at it!! Yes it does make sense if the toxins aren't being filtered out properly!! Thanks again!!

Once I reached about 20% then I was getting this especially in the mornings on waking. I was also getting a horrible metallic taste. I tend to have some warm water with a drop of lemon in and that helps reduce the sick feeling and the metal taste.

I am in stage 3 and I feel nauseous frequently. At the beginning I was feeling nauseous almost every day, it’s better now but I still get that feeling.

I am at stage 3b and sometimes feel nauseated and my GP told me is kidney related. Do not have it as much since on renal diet. Maybe because do not eat as much?
