CKD Stage 5 with EGFR 5mL/min and creatinine 10.32 mg/dL

HI,

My fathers age is 62 and he is facing ckd stage 5 with recent egfr 5 and creatinine 10.32. Nephrologist we are referring to hasnt yet said anything about dialysis yet. He has not other problem along with ckd like hypertension or diabetes. Am curious should we start dialysis or not. I want to save his life. Please share any information or suggestion in this matter.

If your numbers are accurate, YES, he should be starting dialysis if he wants to live.

Yes today dr has advised heamodialysis for 2 and half hours
