Puffy eyes?

Hello everyone. I have been diagnosed with IGA nephropathy (CKD3) earlier this year. I have been retaining a lot of fluid and in particular, have very puffy eyes (worse in the morning but puffy throughout the day). I have tried cooling eye masks, cold tea bags, ice, puffy eye cream. All with no improvement. Has anything worked for you?

Are you sure it’s not hay fever? It’s been very high this yr

Hi, my doctor has me take a very small dose of a water pill. All is pretty good when I drink a lot of water.

If you are Stage 3 ckd you may need to take a water pill - lasix. You mentioned "puffy eyes", but are your ankles swollen too? Edema is common when in ckd. You need to discuss this with your care team/nephrologist. Good luck.

I am mid-thirties and I have had dark purple circles under my eyes since I was a kid. I've tried other creams and lotions, and concealers. Nothing seemed to work.
