Hello friends

I wanted know if anyone of you have/been suffering from the following:

- Neurogenic bladder, can't pass urine so dependent on catherisation

- Kidney damage due to reflux and pressure in bladder

My partner has been suffering from this for some time now and wanted to connect with someone in similar situation to align on the treatment plan.

She is being considered for bladder enlargement to reduce the pressure / reflux. Have any of you gone through this? If so, what was your experience.

Many thanks,

I

I’ve got a neurogenic bladder but I have multiple sclerosis. I had bilateral reflux from previous bladder surgery. Move on a fair few years, I had both kidneys removed, urostomy as I was not good at Isc and now have a kidney transplant after dialysis. I had no other treatment for the neurogenic bladder apart from being showed how to do isc, apart from the usual tests such as test7ng bladder pressure. Hope your partner gets help which saves her kidneys.
