Has anyone with CKD level 3 been diagnosed as pre-diabetic ? Wonder if CKD can cause pre-diabetes?

I believe it’s more likely to be the other way around.

I had the same. Doctor want me to go on pre diabetic course. Checked my blood results and only 1 point above normal. I ignored this. I think doctors get paid for referring you. I will check my next blood results and if they are worse will then I will do something about it

Thanks for response. I have GP appointment next month and will go from there. I am on renal diet. My Ophthalmologist who diagnosed me with diabetic retinopathy wants me to check my blood glucose often. Might entail getting glucose monitor.
