Doretta--

Welcome. Yes, this is a page for CKD. If there was any discussion of rib pain, it was incidental to CKD and I missed it. I'm not your typical person here because I'm 85 years old, but you will soon hear from people you can relate to. Tell us a little about yourself. Do you live in the U.K. or U.S. or someplace else? What has your healthcare provider told you about your condition so far? Join us here and learn all you can here about the best foods for CKD.

Hi doretta 123 and welcome. Yes this is for CKD although other things do come up. There are many knowledgeable and helpful people here, so if you have any worries, you are looking in the right place x

Yes, this is a forum for those diagnosed with CKD, not rib pain unless there is any possibility that your pain is kidney-related.

If you have rib pain/back pain and are worried about your kidneys, see your GP for kidney related tests and ask for a referral to a specialist kidney doctor (nephrologist)

Certain pains in the back/rib/kidney area can be caused by many things,, muscular, sprain, etc etc. so its impossible to say without professional examination and diagnosis.

Not what you're looking for?
