Was told 3 yrs ago i have ckd ...I did not no much about it untill i found Health Unlocked and have learnt quite alot especially the questions i have to ask my doctor, also i have mitral valve regurgitation....

I dont no I did not ask I did not think it was serious I shall make an app to see another doctor and then ask questions...

I have made an app to see nurse practitioner next Monday the 28th sept as i cannot get a doctors app when I will be asking her to explain my condition to me ....

A consultation with a nurse practitioner is a good place to start. Nurse practitioners often spend a little more time with patients than doctors can. She may be able to refer you to a kidney specialist. I have just been diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. Yesterday was my first visit to a kidney specialist. Learning as much as I can, especially about diet.

She did not refer me to kidney specialist should she have done !!
