Most peoples kidney function deteriorates with age. But...,

and I am not saying you are an old banger, just using it as an example...

you can keep an old banger going for years with the correct maintenance and care.

If you take extra care with your diet and follow basically a renal diet you may be able to prolong kidney function or even improve it.
