sent me for a pulmonary/hypertension test. It showed I have an overload of fluid that is causing pressure on my heart, which is why I'm so short of breath. The problem is that I'm getting very weak and my appointment at my local hospital is still 4 weeks away. I had a bad weekend and feel really awful today. I am having trouble walking my breathing is bad, I feel generally unwell and I am having trouble staying awake. I won't be able to get a gp appointment for weeks. I am tempted to ring for an ambulance but I don't like to make a fuss. What do you think I should do?

Hi I should think if your feeling so unwell can you get to a walk in centre...or call the gp out for home visit....failing that go to... A and E...If you cant manage any of these I would call an ambulance..Thats what there for don't suffer..I hope you can get some thing sorted..lillyrae...
i agree with lillyrea, if ur feeling that bad u need 2 b seen asap, if u cant c ur gp, u should go to hospital or out of hours clinic.
Phoned 111 and they told me to ring 999. A very nice paramedic came to see me and took me to the hospital in his car. 8 hrs later I'm back home, Low blood pressure and a water infection. I have a lot of things going on at the moment but the hospital doctor didn't seem to know what to do with me so I will wait and see what my consultants have to say.
