Hi you could enquire about metroclopramide - may have spelt incorrectly - I used to be on this but that was when I was stage 5 ask your renal team as your results such as urea and also certain foods can make the nausea worse

Allopathy medicine is useless. Try the latest medicine "Stem Cell Therapy" . I am using it now. My lat treatment is due next week and I am already felling better. Try Chaitanya Stem Cell Hospital in Poona.

bowler, it could be like shaz36 says, certain foods. I know I feel sick if I eat too much chocolate and too many eggs. Sometimes i really fancy scrambled eggs, but then feel sick even if it is with just 2 eggs. Try and keep a food diary xxx also, yes, you may need some medication if its too bad as mentioned above.

All I do is eat basic food during day while I'm busy , like toast , eat in the evening when I can relax ,that works for me , I'm ck3 have been for 5 year.

Thank you all for your advice.

I am quite new to this site. I have just been told I have stage 3 my level is 39. However my level has never been higher that around 40, for the past 4 years, but I was never told by my GP.!!! or refered to a nephrologist.

Apart from the nausea, I am having pins and needles in my arms, legs, and feet, and back pain.

Numbers on a blood test result didn't mean anything to me, especially as the GFR result didn't show up with an asterisk, [ I always have a b/test result print out as I have to keep an eye on my ESR, as I take steroids.] No wonder I am always having urine/kidney infections. I also have hypertention ,[ I am on medication for that,] which probably doesn't help the kidneys,

Cut a long story, I am now being investigated at the hospital, and have a kidney scan in Aug. and various other tests.

Hi again , like I said I'm a ckd3 ,at 39 had a blocked kidney , I only have one which was a bit of a problem lol , anyway cut a long story short had an op and sorted ,but kidney got damaged , a normal ultrasound scan as I was told doesn't show enough ,so be prepared for more scans , I was scanned by 3 different machines , I think you are on the right path , I was sorted within 6 months , good luck , but most of all don't worry ,

Thank you for your best wishes,

I'm sorry that you only have one kidney, I should stop whinging !!!!

I only wish I could get it all sorted yesterday!!! but there I mustn't grumble. I only saw the Dr. in Addenbrooks hospital on Tues.

Thank God for sites like these, at least you know what I'm talking about.

I will try not to worry, however as I dont sleep very well since having this problem, it seems to be on my mind all the time.
