Dopamine responsive dystonia

I was diagnosed with drd in 1988 and have done well since then on co beneldopa, but I'm starting to have a few symptoms now which make me wonder if it's coming back.

Has anyone else had similar long term treatment, how are you getting on? I've never met anyone with the same diagnosis, so would be very interested to hear your experiences.

Hi Rsaxon, I also have DRD diagnosed 5yrs after having blood tests for everything. Having been on several different medications. I now take. Madopar, which I have found to suit me.

It maybe worth asking your neurologist if you could try them.

I've never met anyone with the same diagnosis either.
