Even though the school tested him they said he wasn't dyslexic I asked for it to be done again they turned round and said he was lazy 😡 I asked for the test and had him tested privately at the Helen arkell centre which I was right to do, I still have a fight with the school as they have to put things into place for him which cost money and time!!

Getting son tested for dyslexia
Your son is not lazy and I think that you should go back for the school and voice your concerns as the longer be stays undiagnosed it will affect his confidence in himself. It will be a long and hard but I hope your son will get the help that he needs. I hope it all goes well for you❤❤
You are doing the right thing. Sadly, having a dyslexic child means you have to fight - it's awful, but that's the way it is in many schools. You are not alone. Never give up - get things they say to you in writing. Any decisions or meetings. Date them all and keep them.
Good luck.
