How many??? Numbers!!!!
Have a look at this book. It was the standard protocol until the US dietary guidelines screwed things up in 1977:

Eating like this you won't go far wrong (I do mostly via LCHF and I am not, nor wish to become, diabetic).
Go to Diet Doc and type 'Diabetes' into the search box for more info:
I understand the blood test numbers but when it come to food I am afraid I find it difficult to understand the numbers!
One thing I found out is that during exercise if I can take my heart rate to say 30 to40 %
higher than normal rate, it helps the blood pump better than normal rate, there are many advantages to this. When I start my exercise it say 80 and I can take it to 115 or 120.
Every one have their own theory. for me only time will tell.
Bala, I was told two days ago I had type 2 diabetes and give metformin, and high cholesterol, I don't know about insulin and blood sugar until I came on here. Totally lost. I have no Idea where mine is supposed to be..
