Disopyramide Replacement?
Of those of you that have been on
Disopyramide
, what have you been switched to and what has been your experience with in efficacy and continuity of supply? Isn't Norpace also
Disopyramide
? If so is that available in a modified release version?

Bisoprolol and flecainide
Have had to change meds after 40years as
Disopyramide
unavailable. Also was taken off propranolol - it does work well for me but all information I can find about them is for once a day. Slightly confused - have only been seen by arrhythmia nurse who prescribed these.

AF with Bisoprolol
I have been switched from
Disopyramide
to Bisoprolol because
Disopyramide
was out of stock. I am now in AF and while Bisoprolol seems to be constraining my Heart Rate, I have been in AF nearly all day, and it’s not great.

ablation or not to …
SVT has been a life long problem for me and losing
Disopyramide
have had to have meds revised. Which have after trial and error have worked out well for. Any info would be much appreciated, although I know ultimately has to be my call.

Switching from Disopyramide to Bisoprolol - any advice?
I am about to switch over from the last of my
Disopyramide
, and start with the Bisoprolol. I am nervous about the switch, as
Disopyramide
is an anti-arhythmic (sodium channel blocker?) while (as I understand it) Bisoprolol is a rate control/beta blocker drug.

Disopyramide back in stock anywhere?
Hi, I have been unable to get
disopyramide
for the past month, and wondered if anyone has managed to find it in stock anywhere? Has
Disopyramide
ceased production completely?

Disopyramide v Diltiazem
Although I have a short supply left of
Disopyramide
to treat SVT cardiologist has suggested that if I run out they will try me on Diltiazem. Has anyone else been diverted to this medication for same problem? Having looked into it I have concerns. I have an appointment coming up to see them.

Co-Amoxiclav side effects with Disopyramide/AF?
Still taking
Disopyramide
, but this seems to be less effective at rate control than it has been previously. No Caffeine, no alcohol, so no obvious triggers. Anyone else experienced this?

DISOPYRAMIDE (RYTHMODAN) 100mgs UK SHORTAGE . . .
Hey Hearties,Not for the first time, over the last couple of years, has my pharmacist been unable to dispense my prescription for the above medication. Obviously I am not alone on this. Having conducted some primary research, the reasons for the UK and beyond, are multifactorial, but of course the usual

sudden onset of fibromyalgia. Is it possible ?
At the end of March I started some new heart pills (
disopyramide
). So I started taking a new medication that seemed to be effective because it has very strong anticholinergic effects against the vagus nerve and is the medication recommended for vagal-type atrial fibrillation).
