POST STROKE

Had stroke 8 years ago when 56. I am left with chronic thalamic Pain Syndrome which is burning pain down my right hand side, including my head and also being slashed with a knife. The pain does not go away and there is no cure as the pain clinic has done everything they can. HOWEVER I also could not write, speak properly and could not walk but now I can write and speak properly and walk with a walker but that's fine. I also found an amazing Stroke Support Group. If you have one in your area DO GO to it wonderful to speak to people who knows what you are going through. Ive been swimming this morning and then a good gossip with the group afterwards. These groups help and encourage.

I am reading a book called “stroke rebel” and she has dealt with this successfully- fortunately i dont have this so i cant help but you may want to get the book for help. Best wishes for relief🤗
