Strokes

I had two strokes almost two years ago but, suddenly out of the blue, I am getting dreadful headaches and nothing seems to touch them. Reluctant to go to the doctor so wondering if it is anything to do with the strokes. Must seem a petty question but wonder if I should go to the doctor.

You can ask about your Neuro.

I don't think doctors know very much about common-or-garden headaches. What size, colour, shape are they? I ask this because headaches can be shrunk, can be told to go away

Yes, do ask.

Get appointment as soon as you can and explain how you are feeling and your concerns.

I was sent off to hospital last week as a precaution. New ct scan shows nothing new (blood clot remains there...not grown or moved). Was good to know and they were really sympathetic and explained as much as they could as neurologists.

No magic wands available....but worth getting a check up.
