Your muscles require fuel(Suga that is carbon). Diabetes patient gets his sugar stagnated in blood and the sugar is not reaching muscles as the agent for infusion of sugar, insulin is not available in the system. The result is sugar in excess in blood and muscles starve of sugar, the fuel. That is the reason for tiredness and excess sleep and also burning all over body, muscles are lost as a part is consumed within itself, resulting in weight loss.

When a diabetes man walks, he sheds only his excess fuel that is sugar as the act of walking consumes fuel. The question on shedding weight does not arise here. only consuming of unspent energy takes place.

Read out my earlier reply. Lack of fuel for your muscles makes you tired in simple terms. This fuel ( SUGAR) gets stagnated in blood that is diabetes. Now you can understand the reason that a diabetes man feels tired and the system makes him to carve for more food , even though he has it in his blood stream.By making your system to absorb the sugar for use in muscles, your muscles will be refreshed and you won't feel tiredness. These are simplified notes for unknown and not for professionals. for explaining in detail.
