Fasting Sugar & Post Fasting Sugar though is falling slightly off the range, how can I reduce my paunch.?

I am a smoker, smoking about 12 ciggarettes a day but I stay away from Alcoholic Drinks.

While I am pracising restricted diet and talking long walks early morning my smoking is something which am unable to give up with this diabetes illness. Pleae suggest a way out
