Unilever said the test for its mouthwash containing CPC (cetylpyridinium chloride) technology was conducted by an independent and internationally accredited testing facility, Microbac Laboratories, on behalf of Unilever Research Laboratories in the U.S.

CPC is a widely used cosmetic ingredient, also used by the dental industry, and is known for its antibacterial and anti-virus benefits.

In fact , the mouth wash brand named as Crest made by Procter & Gamble is already being marketed in USA and few more European countries.

Leah can please confirm if Crest mouthwash made by P & G is currently Available in the USA market.🙂

In USA , currently it costs 3 to 4 USD for 135 ml bottle. . In India also it is available in Amazon , but they will import it from USA and with import duties of 20 USD, it becomes very costly in india...

Thanks to Unliver to make it in India, though P& G india may also bring it's product from USA and sell it at a local price point.

this is a false claim.corona virus receptors are in nasal olfactory mucosa and not the mouth.so I doubt the efficacy of this oral product

Good information:

"COVID-19, a disease caused by coronavirus, spreads mostly from person-to-person contact through viral particles ejected through the mouth by coughing, sneezing, laughing, singing, talking or simply breathing. People within about 6 feet can be infected if these particles reach their mouth, nose or eye." !!
