Whenever we read about any disease or opinion, people always give referencé of other/western countries researches.Their climate life style eating habits etcs are totally different from us.Many times their so called researches are published by big pharmaceutical companies to dump their products .Let us see some honest research conducted in Indian conditions,on Indian people's life style.

Interesting point.

The big question is who is going to fund for Asian medical research?

Can Asian people go back to the old way of living for health benefit? The same for people is Africa?

Same people can fund for researches for Asian/Africans who earn vast amount of money from these continents, keeping their living conditions in focus.

I completely agree with you kamtadale sir. It is high time Indian government starts medical research in full swing. Per statistics, 49% of indian population is diabetic (diagnosed or undiagnosed). I hear about lots of cancer patients in recent years in young age(less than 40) in my relatives and friend circle.

Can we put forward a petition to the concerned government authorities? Any guidance will be really helpful.

Thanks

Even Indian system of medicine has lots of references/researches on various diseases, only they are not made popular by vested interests,.In western knowledge, there are only two types of diabetics, type 1 and type 2,whereas in Ayurveda there are 36 types of Prameh/Madhumeh,depending on the physical/mental/environmental factors.

Would it be possible for you to list all 56 for us to learn?

Now days the western system do talk about 5 clusters!

The western concept of diabetes is centred around insulin, whereas Ayurveda says the three main factors are responsible for good health i.e. Vatja, pitja and coughja.Any change/weakness in any of these factor becomes the cause of disease. There are 4 types attributed to Vatja,6types to pitja and 10 types to coughja. In western systems, one size fits all with little variations, but in Indian systems, treatments depends on the which factor is responsible for the disease and if that is cured, the patient is cured.

I am a diabetic since 20 years and never taken any western medicines, and all my organs are working nicely, although I am 70 years old.I live a natural life, take ayurvedic medicines prepared by me to correct the deficiency in my pitja dosh [related to pit means liver and bile]

It really illuminating to know that you are diabetic for 20 years and do not take western medicine. I am mildly diabetic for about 7 years and 72 years old. Initially I fid try ayurvedic tablets, but had to start western medicine.

You say are using your own home made formula. Can you elaborate for my benifit.

Thank you sir. What is gudmar? Other one it is difficult to get fresh Bel leaves daily as where I stay there are hardly any Bel trees.

Sir,Gudmaar means sugar destroyer and it's botanical name is Gymnema Sylvester and available in any ayurvedic medicine shop. You don't have to get fresh Bel leaves everyday, get enough quantity of Bel leaves, dry them up in shade and once dried, make it in powder form or purchase Bel leave churna [powder] from shop, all other powders are also available in shops.
