Can heart disease affect the kidney, if yes, how?
Heart and kidney disease: Can heart disease... - Diabetes India
Heart and kidney disease
heart disease does not cause kidney disease but uncontrolled diabetes causes both heart and kidney diseases along with several other diseases like eyes, nerves etc.,
Heart deseases especially with failure will affect kidneys. Poor blood pumping will trigger problems with other organs especially kidneys. Pron to heart failure is LV dysfunction and with aging is a progressive phenomenon which will severaly impact kidney function. Better to detect pumping issues it eaarly and treat the underlying condition.
When heart fails there is more chance of instantaneous death ,why only kidney diease?
Emphasising the question herer again of heart issues causing kidney problem. Heart failure is the result of heart related issues. May be attack, heart deffects, valve issue etc. Diabetese alone creating failure is somewhat unheared of. May be the cycle will be of diabetese starting of any cardiac issue. Better can be judged by a care giver. Quoting from my experience of my dad.
Nobody is denying the fact that uncontrolled diabetes will cause a myrad of problems. Most prone may be to eyes, heart, kidney etc due to diabetic neuropathy.
Just want to state the case of low cardiac EF which can cause or accelerate kidney issues.
